I’m serious about taking professional quality stunning pictures easily, and so is my wife…
I’ve been into photography ever since I can remember. I come from a family of photographers, none of them pros but all amateur enthusisats. I got the shutter bug from my grand father. He developed his own black and white film. Had lots of Canons and Nikons, plus all the gear!
My uncle was a real enthusiast too, spent all his money on cameras and equipment. I’ve blown a ton of cash on this hobby too. And quite rightly so.
Lucky me, my wife also has been into photography from an early age. She developed her own black and white films, no mean feat because none of her family where into it! So she had to figure it all out her self. She’s smart and beutiful, she modeled too when she was younger.
And now she wants a new camera! She’s been out of the photography game for a long, long time. But you never forget right? So I’m going to buy her something nice. She will not be too happy if I spend too much money either.
Yes, you can take great pictures with arguably the worlds most renowned camera brand.
Each model has been chosen because it has been extremely well reviewed by the vast majority of owners. In fact, they love them! They are all on the Amazon best seller list at this time, with a range in price from pretty cheap to fairly expensive.

Firstly, let me commend your lucidity on this subject. I am not an expert on this theme, but after registering your article, my understanding has improved considerably. First EF lens I’ve ever owned. It’s fast (considering I just upgraded from FD, basically), has great optics, works great as a portrait lens. I dispute claims that it’s noisy, as it sounds quite silent next to the sound of my 20D’s shutter.Unfortunately it feels like it came out of a cereal box. The lack of a metal mount makes me wonder. And I worry that my lens doesn’t say “MADE IN JAPAN”. Still, the day I got it it fell off my printer onto the floor, about a four foot drop, which it survived entirely without a scratch… we’ll see how that goes. One major ergonomic disadvantage, apart from the fact that in your hands the lens feels like something that came out of the cereal box, is the fact that the focusing ring is, like, right at the end of the lens, and is easily turned while holding the lens. I don’t have a hood yet, so I sometimes run into problems when I’m holding the lens.
hi, I just noticed that your blog looks like it has a strange code appearance on the right side of the footer on the web page. I am not positive if everyone is getting this same thing when browsing your web site? I’m using a different browser than most individuals called Opera, so that is what might be causing it? The weird thing is that when I use Internet Explorer it looks ok I just wanted to make sure you know to check it out…maybe with you using Opera? Anyways…Thanks for posting some good info. I have enjoyed reading a few of your posts.
